Food and service have always been great here. It is sad, but it appears they have gone out of business. They have said nothing on their social media, but have been closed for over 2 months now. I tried to call them to find out if they were open just a few minutes ago, and their phone is no longer in service. Sad.

Was debating on what I wanted this morning I knew I wanted breakfast and initially said I was going to Chick-fil-A, then realized nah I want something I haven't had for me and my wife. A relative always talks about their food so here we go. Initially walking in, it has a peculiar smell like most mom and pop restaurants. I walked in and sat at the bar, the lady informed me it would be a while for my order. I ordered the Western Omelet with the fried potatoes. Came back for my food and it was ready as she said it would be, it smelled delicious all the way home! Lol The food was really good. The omelette was delicious, the fried potatoes were delicious and well seasoned I just wish they had some onions fried in them. The French toast was pretty good not the best I've had but I'd get them again. Overall the restaurant was a good choice, I'd definitely recommend them and I'll be back again!

First time trying the Frontier Diner, but it will not be our last visit. The place IS small, but the help is super-friendly and I did not see any of the "regular customer" favoritism that was mentioned in an earlier review. The place was packed out when we got there with a HUGE party which delayed everyone else's orders, but the two ladies out front handled it all with great composure and service. Let's get down to what the review is actually for: the food. I have to say this was one of THE BEST plates of biscuits and gravy I've ever had (and I've had lots! LOL!). The biscuits were a good size, about the diameter of a softball, and were appropriately fluffy. The gravy was of the white variety, filled with chunks of sausage and sprinkled liberally with black pepper, but not to the point of overkill. The hash browns were great; browned properly on the outside, but steamy and tender on the inside. And the eggs--wonderful eggs!! We finally found a place that actually makes real, scrambled eggs like you'd make at home, not a thin sheet of eggs that's been folded over and chopped up. They, along with the hash browns, piled nicely atop my plate of biscuits and gravy to make for an excellent meal. If you're looking for a great meal, friendly service and reasonable prices, I recommend you give Frontier Diner a try. We live in Jeffersonville, IN (a 20+ minute drive), but we will definitely be back! Went back today, Saturday, January 19, 2019, for breakfast (again). Been nearly a year since our last visit and I'm happy to report that, besides what I think might be a few price increases, their food is still aces! Had my fave biscuits and gravy with (again) real scrambled eggs---SOOOO good!! And the hash browns are STILL to die for! The Frontier Diner ain't fancy, but if you've got a hankerin' for some great chow at a reasonable price, look no further! Still five stars in my book!

Great little place with excellent service. It's a blast from the past with a lunch counter and home cooked type menu. Love the breakfasts! Especially the omelets! Yum!! It can get crowded during high volume times. But the staff is always attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend!

My boyfriend has loved this place since he was a kid, so I agreed to accompany him here one morning for brunch. I had a burger with fries, and he had an omelette. The burger was great and so was his omelette. Definitely 4 star worthy. The decor was really cool and antique looking, it might not appeal to you if you're looking for something fancier than a cute little diner. For me it's just fine.
